Technoprint have been fundraising for their three chosen charities Mid-Cheshire Mind, Crook Lane Respite Unit, and Pinewood Children’s Centre in Winford for a while now, but we thought we would explain a bit more about what they do and help raise awareness of their amazingness.
Mid-Cheshire Mind
Mid-Cheshire Mind manages an informal drop in centre for people who have had or are currently suffering from mental health problems.
Mid-Cheshire Mind is a registered charity affiliated to National Mind. The original Winsford group was formed in 1984 and is now based in the centre of the town making it accessible to many local people.
They believe that given the right support every person has the capacity to make changes in their lives. There are many ways in which talking can help, and they particularly value informal approaches such as self-help groups, and conversations with other service users and staff – all opening up fresh horizons and new potential paths forward.
