This year Technoprint set some objectives for our Corporate Social Responsibility commitment. One of the objectives was to provide a Runcorn School or Club with an automated external defibrillator (AED) due to increasing numbers of staff coming from the Runcorn area.
Technoprint are big supporters of AEDs in the community as these amazing machines can be the difference between life and death. Currently we already have three AEDs within the Winsford community – one located on site and two with local children’s football clubs.
We are now pleased to announce that a further AED has been placed with Runcorn ABC Boxing Club. Runcorn ABC are a great fit for the Technoprint CSR commitment due to the impressive work they perform within the local community, helping to encourage Runcorn adults and children to lead healthier and safer lifestyles. They are to be particularly commended for their efforts with the ‘Drop the Knife’ campaign, using their social media to promote awareness of the campaign, encourage people to stop carrying knives and taking part in volunteer community knife sweeps which have been very successful in clearing some dangerous weapons off the Runcorn streets.
