Toni’s role
Studio coordinator Toni is a versatile member of the team who helps to ensure a smooth leaflet production process. Her role is a diverse one, where no day is the same and involves the preparation of plates for production, processing artwork for customer approval and handling studio-related enquiries.
Any remaining time she can steal is spent working on administrative tasks such as procedure updates and project organisation. She is also training within the business’s order processing area to expand her skills.
Toni’s career
Toni began her career at a housing trust where she helped to get people back into work by writing CVs and assisting with job applications.
During her apprenticeship with Technoprint, Toni was recognised for her exceptional work when she was awarded ‘Outstanding’ under the High Sheriff’s Award for Best Apprentice.
She holds a level 3 business admin apprenticeship, has completed a mental health first aid course, crystal reports training, internal line clearance and manual handling training.
Why Technoprint ticks Toni’s boxes
Despite a career in the printing industry not initially being on her radar, Toni quickly realised that it was an industry that she enjoyed being part of and she’s not looked back since joining Technoprint in 2016.
“It sounds cliché, but the people are definitely the best thing about working at Technoprint. I feel like I am around family and friends and feel valued and looked after,” says Toni.
Among the vast array of highlights from her time with the company so far, Toni counts the various social events and awards nights as her favourite memories.
“Whenever we get the chance to have a social gathering with the team, it’s always a laugh and talked about for a long time. It’s always nice to relax with the people you work with and get to know them better.”
The bucket list
The pandemic meant that Toni was unable to tick off a bucket list item but soon she hopes to finally fulfil her long-held dream of visiting Japan.
She says: “I’m very interested in the culture because it’s vastly different to British culture and I find that intriguing.”
